Complex contoured surface parts that are common to the mold line of modern aircraft are programmed in house using the NCL Programming System (Ver. 9.3), CATIA Software, UG Software and Varimetrix solid model CAD System.
Vericut (Ver. 8) is used for program verification prior to release of programs to shop floor. This enhances our tape proofing capabilities and eliminates costly proofing time usually associated with first run parts.
Brek Manufacturing utilizes the latest in software technology including: CATIA 4, CATIA V5, UNIGRAPHICS Version NX9 Software (3), and Epicor as their MRP System.
Brek Manufacturing Co. has appro. 10,000 sq. feet designated for detail/second operation work. Work area is temperature controlled enabling us to drill and bore close tolerance holes in a stable environment.
Brek Manufacturing Co. has 14,000 sq. feet designated for assembly capabilities. This creates a diverse opportunity for our customer, by completing the installation of nut-plates, details and sub-assemblies we are able to supply complete assemblies/Kits directly to the end user.
With High Speed Machining Techniques developed by Brek, complex assemblies such as these can be redesigned into one-piece monolithic machined parts. This method of machining has eliminated thousands of hours required for the assembly process.
Benefits:
- Elimination of large die and hand forgings
- Elimination of extrusions with long lead times
- Elimination of all tooling (forging dies, extrusions dies, mill fixtures, stretch form blocks, hydro blocks, router tools, heat treat fixtures)
- Elimination of assembly tools and the drilling and installation of over a thousand fasteners per bulkhead
- Immediate Cost Savings!
